Churro Ice Cream Sandwiches: How Healthy is LA's New Dessert?

Last summer, Dominique Ansel’s croissant-slash-donut took the East Coast by storm. This summer, the west coast has its own trendy dessert hydrid: the churro ice cream sandwich, a signature snack at Sylvia Yoo’s pop-up pastry company Churro Borough in Los Angeles.
Yoo makes all parts of each sandwich herself, according to Chow. She offers four standard flavors—ranging from vanilla to Mexican hot chocolate—and several seasonal specialties such as orange creamsicle and panna cotta.

FG calls Chinese company's attempt to seize presidential jets fraudulent
On Thursday, August 15, 2024, reports emerged from France that a court in the country's capital, Paris, granted the Chinese company the right to seize the jets following a favourable judgement it got in a dispute with the Ogun State government. The seizure of the aircraft followed an application by the company, whose business relationship with the Ogun State government dates back to 2010.
