Trust His promises not your fears or doubts

It was Isaiah 26:3-4 and it says, "You will keep him in perfect peace,Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, For in YAH, the Lord, is everlasting strength." (NKJV) This verse did something to me. I had a light bulb moment. It was like someone had opened up my eyes to an important truth, which is that the only way to peace, not just any kind of peace, but the perfect kind of peace is by trusting God.

Why Pro-Palestinian Support Is Growing Amid Israel Conflict

As President Joe Biden arrived Tuesday in Dearborn, Michigan—a city known for it’s sizeable Arab-American population—to tour a Ford factory, thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters took to the streets, accusing the U.S. of helping Israel bombard Palestinians with repeated airstrikes in the Gaza Strip over the past two weeks. The U.S. gives Israel $3.8 billion annually in unconditional aid and recently approved a $735 million weapons sale to the country. Scenes of pro-Palestinian protesters coming out in droves echoed those in March 2014, when about 20,000 demonstrators congregated in Washington D.

Why REM Sleep and Dreams Are Important for Health

Doctors have warned for years that Americans are not getting enough sleep, with health consequences ranging from drowsy driving and irritability to an increased risk of dementia, heart disease and early death. Now, a recent study suggests that one particular type of sleep may be especially important when it comes to how the brain responds to stressful situations. The research, published in the Journal of Neuroscience, found that people who spent more time in rapid-eye-movement (REM) sleep — the phase when dreaming occurs — had lower fear-related brain activity when they were given mild electric shocks the next day.

But something happened last month that has left me with so much guilty feelings. It happened that my boss has been away for two months and the maid had also traveled to her village to see her sick mother, leaving me and madam all alone in the house. That day, it had rained all day and the weather was so cold. After the rains, I decided to pump out some water that had flooded the compound and while I was at it, madam called me to come upstairs and do something for her.

5 major differences between these two popular churches

In fact, there are a lot of people who do not realise that these are two separate churches. The fact that they are both white garment churches is probably the biggest reason why people tend to see them as the same. While this is understandable, it does not change the fact that these two churches are unique in their own rights. They have practices, and doctrines that separate one from the other.
