Over the course of six seasons and 94 episodes of Sex and the City, the quality that has most defined Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) is not her diehard romanticism or her fiscally irresponsible love of shoes, but her constant tendency to be a grade A a-hole.
While some might argue that the lifeblood of the HBO series are its female friendships or its spicy romantic entanglements, there’s no denying that much of the series actually centers on Carrie’s narcissism: her self-absorption, her lack of self-awareness, and her ability to make any and every situation all about herself, her love life, and her feelings.

So this was way less pleasant than I expected. I mean, we all know top 10 lists are exercises in bogus click-whoring, so standard caveats apply, blah blah blah. But still: painful. California Flooding: 17 Killed; Millions Under Evacuation Order
A combination of torrential rain, violent flooding, and powerful wind in California has killed at least 17 people since Sunday. The storm has led to evacuation orders for tens of thousands of people, and left more than 150,000 electric customers without power.
The deaths—spanning San Bernardino County in the south to Mendocino County in the north—have been primarily caused by falling trees and driving on flooded roads, according to the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services.

The Clinton family is growing: Chelsea Clinton announced on social media on Tuesday that she’s expecting her third child with husband Marc Mezvinsky, who will join four-year-old Charlotte and two-year-old Aidan.
Clinton — who is famously the daughter of former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton — shared that she and Mezvinsky “cannot wait” to meet the family’s “newest addition later this summer.
